Traditional gynecologic ultrasound often falls short in getting people the answers they need. At SUGO, leading-edge and evidence-based techniques are used to uncover what is really going on. In addition to the common pelvic ultrasound, we are offering scans focused on endometriosis detection, fertility assessment & improvement (e.g. tubal patency ultrasound), and abnormal bleeding conditions through sonohysterography (e.g. polyps).^
Our team is led & trained by Mathew Leonardi, M.D., Ph.D., a gynecologic surgeon and ultrasound expert (sonologist). Dr. Leonardi believes that the best care is devised through using the most recent research, the best technology, and putting patients first. Dr. Leonardi is also a world renowned researcher, whose passion for helping patients find out why, has led to over 150 peer-reviewed journal articles helping advance the knowledge and skills of gynecologists worldwide.
